We have been operating in Australia for over 10 years and are wholly Australian owned and operated. We pride ourselves on delivering quality aluminium bus bodies on time and to your specification. We have built over 360 buses in all different configurations, such as standard City Bus, Double Deck and Articulated, including also being the largest manufacturer of electric buses in Australia with over 75 units in operation having travelled over 10 million kilometers in operation.

Our manufacturing and assembly plants are in Glendenning & Bankstown in Western Sydney NSW, with an additional site in Keysborough VIC. Within these facilities we have the capacity to output over 450 locally built buses per annum. We strive to source as many components from local Australian suppliers to strengthen our manufacturing industry and have the fastest support response.

In 2016 GMLA designed, developed and built the first 6 production electric buses in Australia for use around Sydney Airport, extending that to a total in use today of just over 70 around Australia by the end of 2021.
With over 9 million km’s travelled in use by some of the country’s largest operators, such as Transit Systems, Logan Bus, Swissport, Punchbowl Bus Company and Busabout, this is a well-tested and proven bus. This makes GMLA the largest and most successful supplier of electric buses in Australia
We successfully completed a project in late 2017 in collaboration with TfNSW and MAN. Building 38 Double Deck vehicles which are now operating in Sydney as part of the B-Line Project. Additional Double Deck buses were built for MAN & Volvo bringing the total manufactured locally to 46.
We successfully won a contract for the supply of 50 Scania K310UB Gemilang buses into the Melbourne Transdev fleet in late 2018.
The project was completed in November 2019 and these buses are operating at Transdev’s North Fitzroy depot in Melbourne.
We have now supplied Transdev Melbourne with over 110 buses, including 4 articulated buses.
We currently manufacture in Western Sydney and Keysborough, Victoria with sites also earmarked in ACT & QLD during 2023.
